Venus is our softie, she just loves to be cuddled and patted.  Pictured at 6 years old, she has grown in to a beautiful girl, solid, typey and very bouncy!    
She came to NZ late 2005, and was bred to Joey on release from quarantine giving us our first litter here at Watermark.  The only landseer Male in this litter went to Australia to Yesallaw kennels (Sue and Cliff Gray) in Tasmania.  Anzac (Watermark Combined Forces) gained his Aust title at just 12 months, another Landseer girl "Xena" (Watermark Sea Spirit) headed to the sunny shores of Hawaii to live with Greg and be spoilt rotten.  Xena is now US pointed.   Rocky is also from this litter and nearing his NZ title.

Venus was only shown a few times in Canada, starting off with a group 3rd (over Specials) under Specialist Judge - Honey Glendinning.  She then gained her last CC for her NZ title with a Reserve Best of Group under Mr J Sullivan (Aust).  
She has now retired from the show ring here, and learning about water trials and obedience.  

Venus will be bred to Am Ch Threeponds Rhythm N Blues, ROM "Danny" at some stage.  Danny was a great dog, admired by many and a very successful sire.   We look forward to combining these sucessful lines that work well together.
