Watermark Newfoundlands was registered in 2001 with the impending arrival of our first 2 imports, NZ Ch Topmast's Joseph Johnson (Imp Can) DD "Joey", and NZ Ch Topmast's Belle of the Ball (Imp Can) CDX "Bella". 
Sonia was fortunate and spent 5 months with Marg Willmott at Topmast kennels in 2001, this in itself was an experience that one could only hope for.  

Jocelyn is also part of Watermark, she has over 20 years experience in the breed. All of her past newfies have been active not only in the showring, but the working side also. Most obtaining obedience, water or draught titles along the way.

Mac was Sonia's introduction to the breed, although not a show dog, he was active in obedience, water trials and attended ribbon parades.

In Oct 2005, we were fortunate to be able to bring in 2 more girls from Topmast - Can & NZ Ch Topmast's Venus "Venus" and a promising youngster Topmast Thyme's A Coming "Thyme".
 
All our newfies are health tested prior to breeding, we hip and elbow score, heart test and eye test. We have Cystinuria clear lines at this stage. You will find these results on the individual pages.
